Global Development System

The Sankyu Group has established a training system for developing talented engineers, and periodically accepts trainees from Asia every year.
Trainees who complete the training fully exhibit the skills they learn as important staff members in overseas business.

Meister System

Skilled personnel who have excellent techniques and skills and serve as a model for other employees in terms of character and personality are conferred the title of Meister,
and actively conduct operations and train successors with the “master craftsmanship” of Sankyu.

Refinement of Skills

● Sankyu Finishing Skills Competition
The Sankyu Finishing Skills Competition is held to increase the level and broaden the scope of the “finishing” that is an important skill in plant construction and maintenance, and also pass on such skills to successors.
● Sankyu Welding Skills Competition
The Sankyu Welding Skills Competition has been held since 1977 for the purpose of increasing the level of skill in “welding” that is a basic skill in the operations of the Sankyu Group. In 2008,
the Sankyu Global Welding Competition expanded participants to include employees of overseas local subsidiaries with the aim of development of human resource able to conduct global business operations.
Sankyu’s skills will cross borders and connect the world.

Acquisition of Skills

● Machinery Master Course
We provide a systematic skill development program spanning three years for technical employees for the purpose of developing expert and professional engineers.
We are engaged in the development of “human resources with technique” who have learned the basic techniques and knowledge required for the Group’s machinery business,
formed a good attitude (mental stance) as technical employees, and obtained the discipline and habits of a member of society.

● Training centers

・Sankyu Hirado Training Center
The facility was established in 1968 in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, which is the birthplace of Sankyu’s founder, to commemorate Sankyu’s 50th anniversary, and conducts job-level training for all employees including those of the Sankyu Group. Success has been achieved in developing professionals able to perform with enriched humanity and great individuality.

・East Japan & West Japan Human Resources Development Center
The aim of these centers is to cultivate a group of highly-trained skills and to develop advanced technicians able to deal with high technology. * Technology training, skills training, training to prepare for certified technician and various welding examinations, health and safety education, provision of facilities, and deployment of instructors.
